Law360, New York (October 02, 2009, 2:55 PM ET) -- Average spending on outside counsel is slated to drop below 2006 levels next year, according to a new report by the BTI Consulting Group Inc. (Wellesley, Mass.). And law firms that aren't already engaging their clients in new ways should think about getting busy if they want to keep a piece of the pie in 2010 and beyond.
