FERC Commissioner Kelly Opts Out Of 3rd Term

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Energy law expert Suedeen G. Kelly has decided not to serve a third term on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, despite President Barack Obama's decision in March to reappoint the commissioner from New Mexico.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources posted news of her departure on Monday, pointing out that even though her second term ended in June she will remain on the five-member panel until the Senate approves her replacement.
