Toolmaker's Trade Secrets, Noncompete Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (September 22, 2009, 5:44 PM EDT) -- A Washington state appeals court has thrown out a dispute between two tool manufacturers over a pair of workers who allegedly broke noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements after jumping ship from one of the firms and misappropriated trade secrets in the process.

Judge Michael J. Trickey dismissed all but two claims against Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp., Jon Morrow and Evans Nguyen in the Superior Court of Washington in and for King County on Monday, and dismissed the remaining claims on Tuesday.
