ITC Says Sinochem Didn't Violate Coolant Order

Law360, New York (September 22, 2009, 3:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that Sinochem Modern Environmental Protection Chemicals (Xi'an) Co. Ltd. did not violate a consent order it agreed to with Ineos Fluor Holdings Ltd., which had accused Sinochem of infringing a patent related to coolants.

The ITC issued an initial determination Monday stating that Sinochem hadn't violated the consent order and that no enforcement would be necessary if it were found to have violated the order. The decision will become final in 60 days if not challenged.
