Companies Must Rein In Executive Pay: Report

Law360, New York (September 23, 2009, 6:27 PM EDT) -- A task force of corporate executives, attorneys and others has released a set of recommendations on how companies can change their executive compensation policies to avoid their shareholders' ire, calling for performance-based pay subject to stringent oversight.

The recommendations were released Monday in the form of a report from the Conference Board Task Force on Executive Compensation, which was convened earlier this year by the Conference Board, a business research nonprofit.
