Aspex Sues Nike, Ed Hardy Over Lens Patent

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 1:56 PM EDT) -- Aspex Eyewear Inc. has accused several rival eyewear makers, including Ed Hardy and Nike Inc., of infringing a patent for auxiliary lenses.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Aspex and its Taiwanese affiliate Contour Optik allege that glasses made by Nike, Hardly Life LLC, Revolution Eyewear Inc. and Marchon Eyewear Inc. infringe an Aspex patent for magnetic clip-on lenses.
