Greenpeace Blocks European Patent Office

Law360, New York (April 6, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Activists for the environmental pressure group Greenpeace blocked the entrance to the European Patent Office in Munich on Monday in a protest against a patent for breeding human embryos.

About 100 activists blocked the doors of the building with rocks and ice blocks with dolls representing patented babies stuck to them.
