Fuji Media Announces Acquisition Of ARC Music

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 6:03 PM EDT) -- Japanese media conglomerate Fuji Media Holdings Inc.'s American subsidiary has bought ARC Music, which holds rights to some of the most well-known songs of the last 50 years, for an undisclosed amount.

Fuji Entertainment America and ARC, which has published music by Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Sonny Boy Williamson and others, announced the deal on Wednesday. The terms of the deal are confidential.
