Trustee Objects To Fees In Chemtura Ch. 11 Case

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 12:52 PM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee in chemical producer Chemtura Corp.'s Chapter 11 proceedings has objected to more than $500,000 in fees and reimbursements out of $14.8 million requested by the company's lawyers and other professionals.

U.S. Trustee Diana Adams filed an objection Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, saying $459,097 in fees and $80,529.14 in expenses requested for the period between March 18 and June 30 were vague or otherwise questionable.
