Tropicana Noteholders Appeal Denial Of $2.4M In Fees

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 2:36 PM EDT) -- A group of Tropicana Entertainment LLC noteholders has appealed a bankruptcy court ruling refusing to reimburse them $2.4 million for costs they racked up litigating a motion that removed the bankrupt casino operator's contentious former owner.

The ad hoc consortium of senior subordinated noteholders filed a notice of appeal Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware disputing an order that Judge Kevin J. Carey handed down Sept. 18 denying their application for compensation.
