CSX Wins On Locomotive Coverage In Katrina Spat

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 2:24 PM EDT) -- In a dispute between CSX Corp. and several insurers over Hurricane Katrina damage claims, a judge has found that the railroad company is entitled to coverage for upgraded locomotive purchases but not for business interruption claims related to certain facilities owned or used by customers including Ikea, Luxco Wax Co. and Gulf Atlantic Refining & Marketing LP.
