GE Fights For $1.35M Fee After Pliant Spurns Exit Deal

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 2:33 PM EDT) -- General Electric Capital Corp. has asked for a $1.35 million fee to be carved out for it from bankrupt plastic film and packaging manufacturer Pliant Corp. should the bankruptcy court approve Pliant's plan to switch its exit financier of choice from GE to Barclays Capital.
