DRAM Cos. Ask ITC To Adopt Noninfringement Ruling

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 1:46 PM EDT) -- Acer Inc. and a host of other dynamic random access memory manufacturers are urging the U.S. International Trade Commission to ignore Tessera Inc.'s request for review of an administrative law judge's initial determination that they did not infringe three Tessera semiconductor chip packaging patents.

On Thursday, Acer Inc., Acer America Corp., Nanya Technology Corp., Nanya Technology Corp. USA, Powerchip Semiconductor Corp., and Kingston Technology Co. pushed the court to adopt the ruling handed down by Administrative Law Judge Theodore Essex at the end of August....
