Cable One Goes For Win In Converter Box Tying Suit

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 12:58 PM EDT) -- Phoenix-based cable provider Cable One Inc. has asked for summary judgment in a proposed antitrust class action over the company's cable boxes, arguing that the plaintiff's allegations are without merit.

In a motion filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, Cable One maintains that the “entire factual underpinning” of the complaint is based on false information about the company's cable box services.
