JPMorgan Wins TRO In Worker Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 4:14 PM ET) -- JPMorgan Chase Bank NA has won a temporary restraining order barring six former Michigan employees from contacting clients after they tendered their surprise mass resignation and immediately went to work for rival Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC.

Judge Julian Abele Cook Jr. ordered the wealth managers and other employees to immediately surrender all client lists and other records they may have taken with them, granting JPMorgan's request for the 10-day TRO on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
