Spansion Fee Auditor Trims Latham's $3.3M Bill

Law360, New York (September 30, 2009, 3:04 PM EDT) -- The fee auditor overseeing the Spansion Inc. bankruptcy case is asking that Latham & Watkins LLP's $3.3 million tab be reduced by more than $20,000, citing a handful of examples where the firm supposedly overcharged its client.

On Sept. 28 Warren H. Smith & Associates issued its final fee report, recommending approval of fees in the amount of $3,206,272.50 and expenses in the amount of $79,382.35 for L&W’s service during the period from March 1, 2009, through May 31, 2009.
