2nd Class Rep. Joins Marine Hose MDL

Law360, New York (October 1, 2009, 12:49 PM EDT) -- Several weeks after granting class certification, a federal judge has allowed Loop LLC to intervene as a second class representative in the multidistrict litigation over price-fixing in the marine hose industry.

Judge Donald L. Graham of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Tuesday granted Loop’s motion to intervene after the crude oil transporter contended it, alongside Bayside Rubber & Products Inc., would ably represent the interests of hose purchasers in the MDL.
