Antitrust Counterclaims Rejected In Xerox Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 1, 2009, 3:03 PM EDT) -- Xerox Corp. has won a motion to dismiss remaining antitrust counterclaims that it maintained an unfair monopoly on the market for the ink used in its printers, in a patent infringement suit it brought against Media Sciences Inc.

Judge Richard Holwell of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted Xerox’s motion to dismiss the remaining antitrust counterclaims from the ongoing patent suit.

An attorney for Media Sciences declined to comment on the ruling.
