Class Certified In Equifax Consumer Records Suit

Law360, New York (October 01, 2009, 2:41 PM ET) -- Consumers alleging that credit reporting agency Equifax Information Services LLC did not rigorously investigate their disputes over the accuracy of their public records have won class certification.

Judge Joseph H. Rodriguez said in his ruling on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that named plaintiff Bruce A. Summerfield was suitable to represent the rest of the class.
