Weinstein Seeks Dorsey's Attorney Fee Info

Law360, New York (October 2, 2009, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Bankruptcy firm Weinstein & Riley PS wants Dorsey & Whitney LLP to reveal the amount of fees it billed to a client in a pair of contract and malpractice lawsuits, saying the information is relevant to a related suit Weinstein filed against its insurer.

Dorsey & Whitney has claimed that the attorneys' fees statements are protected by the attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine, that they are not relevant, and that it would be unduly burdensome to produce them.
