Korean Steel Co. Challenges Welded Pipe Duties

Law360, New York (October 6, 2009, 6:30 PM EDT) -- South Korean welded steel pipe manufacturer SeAH Steel Corp. has asked for a review of anti-dumping duties levied by the U.S. Department of Commerce, alleging that they are improperly high.

In a motion for judgment filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday, SeAH argued that the method by which Commerce calculated the anti-dumping duties in its review of welded steel pipes from South Korea deviated from the department's established practices on calculating duties.
