US Tries To Quash Depositions In Drug Price MDL

Law360, New York (October 8, 2009, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government has asked a federal judge throw out Abbott Laboratories Inc.’s deposition notices for government employees in the multidistrict litigation over allegedly inflated pharmaceutical wholesale prices.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services filed a motion Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts to quash the notices or, alternatively, for a protective order for two CMS employees and a witness.
