Endologix Hit With Patent Suit Over Stent Grafts

Law360, New York (October 9, 2009, 12:25 PM EDT) -- Medical device maker Cook Inc. has filed a patent infringement suit against rival Endologix Inc., claiming that the California company has infringed two patents related to endovascular stent grafts.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, Cook alleges that Endologix has infringed one of the Cook patents-at-issue with its flagship product, the so-called Powerlink system, which is a stent graft used for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.
