Law360, New York (October 9, 2009, 4:11 PM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has reportedly appointed an examiner to oversee the sale of Fontainebleau Las Vegas Holdings LLC's unfinished $3 billion casino and hotel development in an effort to speed the company's reorganization.

Judge A. Jay Cristol of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida appointed the examiner on Thursday, Dow Jones reported, citing an attorney for the debtor.
