Abortion Records Given To Kansas Attorney General

Law360, New York (November 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a controversial move, the state attorney general of Kansas is sifting through the records of 90 patients from two abortion clinics as he looks for evidence of what he calls potential crimes committed by doctors performing illegal operations.

On Tuesday, Attorney General Phill Kline revealed that his office had received nearly 100 patient files from the pair of clinics, triggering concerns over patient privacy.
