American Airlines Latest To Settle DataTern Lawsuit

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 3:04 PM EDT) -- DataTern Inc. and American Airlines Inc. have asked a judge to approve the airline's dismissal from a database technology infringement dispute, making it the latest to join American Express Co. and Wells Fargo Corp. in settling out of the Texas-based patent holder's lawsuit.

Friday's motion, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeks an order dismissing all claims in the action with prejudice and dismissing all counterclaims as moot per a Sept. 30 settlement agreement, the details of which were not made...
