Restraining Order Puts AT&T Practices On Hold

Law360, New York (October 13, 2009, 7:33 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order against AT&T Inc. in an antitrust suit that claims the company instituted a predatory pricing program to put smaller carriers out of business.

U.S. District Judge Jorge Solis of the Northern District of Texas on Tuesday granted an order restraining AT&T from discriminating against smaller carriers, from implementing restrictions on the resale of cash back offers and from pursuing collection activities against carriers for charges in excess of promotional rates.
