Southern Farm, Investors Take Dispute To 11th Circ.

Law360, New York (October 15, 2009, 3:31 PM EDT) -- A group of former investors in Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Co. who won a $31.7 million judgment in a derivative action against the company are appealing a district court's refusal to certify a shareholder class action in addition to the derivative suit, while Southern Farm is appealing the judgment.
