Agilent's Motions Denied In Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (November 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Electronic measurement company Agilent Technologies Inc. hit a setback Wednesday in the trade secret lawsuit filed by a small Silicon Valley competitor, after its motions for summary judgment were rejected by a U.S. court.

The dispute, triggered by a unit of Tegal Corp. in California’s Superior Court of Santa Barbara, will now head to trial later this month, according to the plaintiff, which develops technology used in manufacturing integrated circuitry.
