Fendi Cries Foul Over $70M Filene's, DSW Deal

Law360, New York (October 15, 2009, 12:56 PM EDT) -- Luxury fashion company Fendi SRL has objected to a deal among bankrupt Filene's Basement Inc., its former parent Retail Ventures Inc. and shoe retailer DSW Inc. to wipe out $70 million in claims related to loans, bills and other obligations, citing concerns about the deal's effect on a pending trademark case.
