Century Fails Bid To Overturn Ruling For Lloyd's

Law360, New York (October 16, 2009, 4:01 PM EDT) -- Rejecting the contentions of Century Indemnity Co., a federal appeals court has found a district court rightfully sent a contract dispute between Century and Lloyd’s of London underwriters to an arbitration panel and upheld the decision by the panel, which found that Lloyd's did not have to cover asbestos litigation costs paid by Century.
