Bee Activists Ask To Nix Approval Of Bayer Pesticide

Law360, New York (October 22, 2009, 2:07 PM EDT) -- Advocacy groups have asked a federal judge to overturn the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s approval of spirotetramat, a new pesticide marketed by Bayer CropScience, contending that the agency did not properly take into account the chemical’s potential to harm dwindling bee populations.
