Gift Card Patent Deemed Invalid, Unenforceable

Law360, New York (November 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A four year patent infringement lawsuit over gift card technology seeking over $10 million in damages turned into a worst case scenario for the plaintiff, who not only lost on the two counts it was arguing, but had its entire patent deemed invalid in a jury verdict handed down on Friday.
