DOJ, Newspaper Cos. In Talks To Settle Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 5:22 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday gave the U.S. Department of Justice and two West Virginia media companies an extra three weeks to continue settlement talks in the government's case accusing the news organizations of breaking antitrust laws.

Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr. granted the joint motion for an extension of the stay in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
