Lasonic Settles In Tsera Touch Pad Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 12:20 PM EDT) -- Portable music player maker Lasonic Electronics Corp. has become the second audio equipment company to settle in Tsera LLC's patent infringement suit accusing more than two dozen companies of stealing touch pad technology.

In a joint order lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday, the parties announced a confidential settlement and asked to dismiss the claims, adding that each party would bear its own costs.
