Petition Prompts EPA Objection To BP Air Permit

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 7:22 PM ET) -- Prompted by a petition from the Natural Resources Defense Council and other environmental groups, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has taken issue with an air emissions permit application related to a planned $3.8 billion expansion that would allow a BP PLC refinery in Indiana to process crude oil from Canadian tar sands.
