Muzak Ch. 11 Disclosure Statement Wins Approval

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009, 6:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge approved Muzak Holdings LLC's disclosure statement Tuesday and allowed the company to seek approval of its Chapter 11 reorganization plan from its creditors.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved the disclosure statement in a hearing, according to a company spokesman.

The reorganization plan currently has the support of Muzak's largest secured and unsecured creditor, Silver Point Capitol Advisors LP, as well as the official committee of unsecured creditors and an ad hoc committee of...
