Kellogg Blasted In Dispute Over Gardenburger Plant

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 4:47 PM EDT) -- The maker of the Gardenburger brand of meatless burgers has fired back in a lawsuit over an asset purchase agreement it reached with Kellogg Co., asserting that a manufacturing facility included in the deal was damaged by Kellogg after it took over the plant.

In counterclaims filed Monday in the New York County Supreme Court, WHF Liquidating Corp., formerly known as Wholesome & Hearty Foods Co. Inc., argued that Kellogg is falsely asserting that it violated an asset purchase agreement.
