8th Circ. OKs Win For National Casualty In Cumis Case

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009, 7:53 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a ruling for National Casualty Co. that found the insurer had appropriately handled its coverage and appointment of defense counsel for Sovereign General Insurance Services Inc. in underlying arbitration.

The decision, which agreed with rulings from the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of California, was handed down in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday.
