Pitt Sends Radiation Patent Suit Back To Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 2:00 PM EDT) -- A protracted patent dispute between the University of Pittsburgh and Varian Medical Systems Inc. over patents related to radiation therapy may take another trip back to a federal appeals court, as Pitt has objected to a district court's judgment that barred it from filing a new complaint.
