Edwards Angell Launches London Competition Practice

Law360, New York (October 30, 2009, 5:31 PM ET) -- Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP has tapped Becket McGrath, formerly of Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP, to launch its U.K. competition practice, with a focus on U.K. and European Union antitrust law.

McGrath, who will begin Monday as the head of the London group, focuses on behavioral issues, competition litigation, merger control and compliance in the U.K. and EU. He advises on regulatory matters in the broadcasting, rail and water industries and has an interest in the application of competition law to sports, technology and communications....
