More Changes On The Way For Japanese Competition Law

Law360, New York (November 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Although Japan just recently implemented its Revised Antimonopoly Law, the government has already started to look for ways to improve the policy.

While the policy has thus far been effective, regulators will take another look at the amendments at the end of next year. Officals have already begun singling out areas of the law that could be improved, said Toshiyuki Nanbu, director of the Japanese Fair Trade Commission’s International Affairs division.
