5th Circ. Lets Harrah's Off Hook In Casino Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (November 02, 2009, 2:42 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a lower court's decision to toss Jebaco Inc.'s suit alleging that Harrah's Operating Co. Inc. and Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. conspired to divide and monopolize the Louisiana casino market in violation of federal and state antitrust law.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Friday ruled that Jebaco’s complaint failed to allege antitrust standing.
