Raytheon Accused Of Violating Labor Laws

Law360, New York (November 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A machinists union at Raytheon Missile Systems’ Tucson, Ariz., plant has filed a pair of unfair labor charges, claiming the weapons manufacturer spied on union members and threatened to fire probationary employees.

The charges, which were filed Tuesday with the National Labor Relations Board’s regional office in Phoenix, came just one day after 1,900 represented machinists at the plant went on strike when their contract expired.
