Law360, New York (November 03, 2009, 7:52 PM ET) -- Dairy farmers who brought a multidistrict lawsuit over alleged anti-competitive practices in the milk industry have won over a federal judge, who agreed to a protective order modification that would allow access to some sealed documents.
In two orders issued on Tuesday, Judge J. Ronnie Greer modified the protective order, overruled objections by defendants Dairy Farmers of America and upheld a magistrate judge's earlier ruling that the cooperative was not allowed to send out settlement proposals to individual putative class members.
