Chinese Exporter Objects To Duties On Kitchen Racks

Law360, New York (November 4, 2009, 4:16 PM EST) -- A Chinese exporter of refrigerator and oven racks has filed concurrent complaints over countervailing and anti-dumping duties recently imposed on its products, saying the U.S. Department of Commerce's calculation method could force it to pay unfair “double duties.”

The exporter, Guangdong Wireking Housewares & Hardware Co. Ltd., lodged the complaints in the U.S. Court of International Trade Wednesday, a month after filing a pair of summonses with the court.
