McKesson Wins Bid For Discovery Docs In AWP Fight

Law360, New York (November 5, 2009, 3:31 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ordered the California Department of Health Care Services to cough up documents after siding with McKesson Corp. in a discovery battle in a proposed class action accusing the company of conspiring to inflate the average wholesale price of hundreds of drugs.

In an order Tuesday, Judge Joseph C. Spero of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said CDHCS, the state agency responsible for overseeing California’s Medicaid program, must turn over documents from a related AWP case by Nov....
