Agrium Sues Ex-Sales Rep, Rival Over Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (November 05, 2009, 6:03 PM ET) -- Agricultural products producer Agrium Inc. has launched a lawsuit against a former sales representative and rival Blue Water Agronomy Inc., claiming the ex-employee misappropriated Agrium's trade secrets and breached his employment contract when he went to work for Blue Water.

Agrium and wholly owned subsidiary Agrium Advanced Technologies (U.S.) Inc. filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, seeking damages and injunctive relief against Blue Water and ex-employee Jason Bridges.
