Wilson Sonsini Brings On Merrill M&A Director

Law360, New York (November 09, 2009, 4:07 PM ET) -- Warren S. de Wied — former managing director of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.'s mergers and acquisitions group and former co-leader of Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP's mergers and acquisitions practice — has joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC as a partner.

De Wied, who started at Wilson Sonsini on Monday, is based in the firm's New York office and focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, the firm said in a statement.
