Tsera Settles With 2 More In Touch Pad Patent Fight

Law360, New York (November 09, 2009, 12:04 PM ET) -- IMA-Hong Kong Ltd. and Spectra Merchandising International Inc. have become the latest portable electronics companies to settle with Tsera LLC in its infringement suit over a patent covering touch pad technology.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off Thursday on the agreed motion to dismiss with prejudice, citing a confidential settlement and release agreement between the two sides signed Wednesday.

Each party is to pay its own costs and attorneys' fees, according to the order.
